It is a little frustrating to get it going, but once you get the hang of it. AppleTV and chrome cast both require a wifi network to work. Using a cheap Roku stick plugged into the tv I can cast my phone screen to the TV. I’m able to download Netflix shows on my Android phone at home and take them with me. We also added in "subscriptions" which automatically records new episodes of your favorite shows as soon as they are available.
There is still a MyMedia channel on the Roku, but you'll get a much better experience if you view your PlayOn Media Library through the PlayOn channel on the Roku - available here. AdSkip is still available! We migrated MyMedia into the PlayOn Media Library. We retired the PlayLater apps and brand and bundled them into PlayOn as PlayOn Recording. You can watch any of the shows available for free right there on your desktop. What's New: We created a PC desktop view into PlayOn - where you can see featured shows/movies and a channel view into the 100 PlayOn channels. After almost a year of development, this fall we launched the PlayOn Desktop app.
